I grant the point about web forums. lol

However I never said it was 'all' hyperbole, rantings, etc... I said a lot of it was. Yes, there are people who have had problems, I never said there wasn't, however 'a lot' it isn't. Just because some people complain on a forum their game doesn't work because of SecuROM doesn't mean its a major issue or that everyone has that problem.

Besides, my article was about this current version of SecuROM which seems pretty solid. You get the choice of how you want it to behave, and I think that shows that DADC has actually listened to the complaints and moved to correct it. You might want to 'get over it and move on'.

"Although to be fair, a lot of this has been hyperbole, unverified rantings and just people jumping on that bandwagon without even knowing the facts."

Hello? Have you ever even SEEN a web forum?

There's never been a single topic posted anywhere on any forum that didn't have unverified rantings and people jumping on the bandwagon. That's what happens when the unwashed masses are allowed to add their comments. Get over it and move on.

Fact: Securom has caused a LOT of people a LOT of problems, problems that are reproducible.
Fact: Securom has prevented ME PERSONALLY from playing a game I purchased legitimately.

I'm an eyewitness. Call me names if you want, doesn't change the facts. Sorry.
